Why BETWIXT?

“A nation that continues year after year to spend more money on military defense than on programs of social uplift is approaching spiritual death.”

— Martin L. King, Jr.

Betwixt is a welcoming and uplifting spiritual community focused on awakening to life, living consciously, and building relationships between our differences. It brings people of diverse faiths, cultures, interests, and experiences together in a safe and creative environment.

Many long for the type of community often found in a religious setting but, instead, want to build relationships outside these venues. We noticed many institutions working to rebrand from a history of exclusion, control, and discrimination. Instead of rebranding and attempting to repurpose old traditions, we built a loving community from the ground up. Betwixt is religion-free! We are here to nurture and support you in your personal transformation, whether it includes religion or not. We pride ourselves on maintaining an intimate atmosphere that allows you to be yourself. We invite you and welcome you to experience life, living in community between our differences. Welcome to Betwixt—where life is full of discoveries!

Facilitator, Guide and **Teacher

You may be looking for the picture of the husband and wife sitting in a field of long grass with their beautiful, well-behaved children almost to suggest come and follow me, and your life will look like mine. Nope, Betwixt has no image to sell. All you’re going to get is me and my real estate pose. However, don’t be deceived by my crossed arms; my confidence is only in the Divine that speaks through me. “I can of my own self do nothing.”

**Even though my teachings inspire people to see from new perspectives, I would be best described as a seer, a term we rarely hear. Being a seer is not an identity but instead how the Divine has chosen to operate through me – today. I use Consciousness to see things as they are, and sometimes I will sound like I’m contradicting myself because I don’t naturally take a side on any given issue. Moreover, I don’t see anyone needing a spiritual teacher in the traditional sense because everything we need to know is already within us. Some of us just need a little guidance to help look in the right direction.
